Irregular Heartbeat (arrhythmia)
February 22, 2019

Seizures occur everyday and as we know as per Sir Francis Bacon “knowledge itself is power.” What do we do if it occurs? Have no fear as this article addresses that very question. The numbers of people who have this condition are really staggering and growing every day. Healthline.com states that “Each year, about 150,000 Americans are diagnosed with this central nervous system disorder that causes seizures. Over a lifetime, 1 in 26 U.S. people will be diagnosed with the disease.” In addition, as per Epilepsy.com 22,000 to 42,000 deaths occur each year from seizure emergencies. In our classes at CPR Center of Houston we teach techniques in person to make sure all of our students are prepared to handle all types of medical emergencies that can occur.
